starfighter model created in 3d studio max How do they make those incredible animations? How do video game developers make the buildings, the landscapes, and the characters? How can you take a virtual tour of your interior design? Do you want to create 3D logos? Is developing a movie introduction appealing to your artistic nature? This course will explore the fundamentals of 3D Animation and 3D Modeling. a model of the Jetson's apartment building

With 3ds max, you can create 3D places and characters, objects and subjects of any type. You can arrange them in settings and environments to build the scenes for your movie or game or visualization. You can animate the characters, and set them in motion. Then, shoot movies of the whole virtual thing.

You can use 3ds max to visualize designs of real things that will actually be built, such as buildings and machines. Add lighting and materials, then render to still image or movie formats.

3D Animation is now available for Santa Rosa Junior College credit. Through an articulation agreement with the SRJC, students can earn three credits by  Credit by Exam. A test given by the SRJC.
